• Advance Payment: In some cases, an advance payment may be required to confirm your booking. This payment is non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the agreement.

3. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to the following responsibilities:

• Providing Accurate Information: You must provide correct and complete information regarding the items being moved, pick-up and delivery locations, and any special requirements.

• Item Preparation: You are responsible for ensuring that all items are ready for packing. This includes dismantling furniture (if applicable) and securing delicate or valuable items.

• Special Handling Items: It is your responsibility to notify us about any fragile, valuable, or special items (e.g., antiques, artwork, or electronics) that require additional care during packing and transportation.

• Access to Locations: You are responsible for ensuring that both the pick-up and delivery locations are accessible for our team and moving vehicles. If there are any restrictions (narrow roads, stairs, or elevators), please inform us in advance.

• Packing Items: While we provide packing services, any personal or highly valuable items (e.g., documents, jewelry, or money) should be packed separately by the customer and are not covered under our liability.

4. Our Responsibilities

United Packers and Movers Hyderabad agrees to the following:

• Professional Packing and Moving Services: We will provide skilled and efficient packing, loading, transportation, and unloading services for your move, following industry standards to ensure the safety of your belongings.

• Timely Delivery: We will make all reasonable efforts to deliver your belongings at the agreed date and time. However, factors like weather, road conditions, and unforeseen delays may cause minor disruptions, which are beyond our control.

• Insurance Coverage: We offer basic insurance coverage for goods being moved. However, this coverage may not cover all types of damages, and it is advisable to discuss additional coverage for high-value items with our team.

5. Pricing and Payment

• Pricing Structure: The cost of moving services will depend on factors such as the volume of items, the distance of the move, and any additional services requested (e.g., packing, storage, etc.). An estimate will be provided before the move, and the final cost will be based on the actual scope of the services provided.

• Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for services such as:

  • Extra labor or time required for difficult-to-move items.

  • Charges for services like storage, unpacking, or assembling furniture.

  • Delays or unforeseen circumstances that lead to a longer moving process.

• Payment Terms: Payment for the services will be due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. We accept payments through cash, bank transfer, or other modes as mutually agreed.

• Advance Payments: A non-refundable advance payment may be required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the move.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellation Policy: If you decide to cancel your move, please inform us at least 48 hours before the scheduled date to avoid incurring charges. If cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the move, a cancellation fee may apply.

• Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule your move, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled move may incur additional charges.

7. Liability and Damages

• Liability for Damage: While United Packers and Movers Hyderabad takes all necessary precautions to ensure your items are safely packed and transported, we are not liable for damage to items that are inadequately packed, fragile, or subject to inherent risks (such as glass, ceramics, or electronics).

• Limited Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount specified in the moving contract and any applicable insurance coverage. We do not accept liability for items that are not listed in the inventory or for items that are damaged due to improper packing by the customer.

• Insurance: We offer basic insurance coverage for the move, but customers are encouraged to opt for additional insurance if moving high-value items or items with significant sentimental value.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays, damages, or non-performance of services due to causes beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, road accidents, weather conditions, or government-imposed restrictions.

9. Indemnification

By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless United Packers and Movers Hyderabad, its employees, agents, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of our services, including any breach of these Terms and Conditions.
